It All Started With A Prank Phone Call.

Today, my parents got married. One pulled a prank phone call and called the other, who didn't hang up (I'm glad you didn't hang up, Dad!).

My parents are amazing. They've cared for and homeschooled us five kids with extreme amounts of love and patience all our lives. They're absolutely wonderful, God-blessed parents, and I couldn't ask for anyone better.

Happy anniversary, Mom and Dad. And thank you a whole bunch for getting married!!!

They Go "Cheep-Cheep", the Dentist Goes "Really?"

Today we piled into the van this morning with two goals in mind: 1) To get to an orthodontist visit, and 2) to retrieve 56 chicks from the Post Office. We picked up the chicks first to spare the pleasant people there the torture of hearing those little balls of fuzz whose cuteness meter goes off the charts. So, while we have the chicks in the back, Parker and I head to the dentist office and had the fun of seeing the dentist's surprised expression when we told him we had 56 chicks in the back of our van, and that we got them at the Post Office. Apparently it was an entirely new concept to him (maybe we should've added we got them from a rich old man in India and they came by airplane). But it was great to see his reaction.

OK OK, you all want pictures of the fuzzy soft cuteness, yeah? Lucky for you my mom and her loyal camera were on duty. ;)
